Indie Label Operating System Membership

Music release and intellectual property management, with the accountability to follow through.

Every song you release has two copyrights. Every copyright is a micro economy and income producing asset that should keep paying you. Indie Label O.S. Membership gives you the system a label would use to register it, release it, protect it and grow it, plus the structure that keeps you moving when you’d otherwise stall.

Own your masters. Then make them earn.

Free account holders: everything you’ve already completed carries straight into your membership.

01 · The Pipeline

Stop guessing what comes after the song.

Most releases don’t fail because the music is weak. They fail in the gap between a finished song and a finished release, where nobody is there to guide you on what to do next.

The Project Pipeline walks every release through eleven stages, from beat selection or custom production to analytics, and at each one it tells you exactly what to do before you move on.

  • Eleven stages from first idea to post-release analytics
  • Metadata vault that fills in once and follows every release
  • Release strategies for singles, EPs, albums and staggered drops
  • Release day protocol with SMS and email scripts ready to send
02 · Rights and Royalties

Every royalty you’re owed, actually collected.

Independent artists lose real money to missing registrations. A song with no publisher registration leaves half its performance royalties unclaimed, and nobody sends a reminder.

Launch Readiness takes you through every account and registration in the right order. The pipeline and rights templates handle the paperwork most artists never know exists.

  • PRO, SoundExchange and publishing admin setup, in order
  • Letters of Direction so collaborators are paid directly
  • SoundExchange repertoire, copyright and SoundScan worksheets
  • Weekly reminders while SoundExchange approval is pending
  • Copyright routing wizard that picks the right application Coming soon
  • Chain of Title file: proof of ownership for every song Coming soon
03 · Your Catalog

Your songs are income producing assets. Manage them like they earn in your sleep.

A label treats every song as something that can earn for decades: licensed, placed, sold. Most independent artists treat songs as files in a folder.

Your catalog lives in one place with its splits, collaborators and release details, ready the moment an opportunity shows up.

  • My Catalog: every song, its files, splits and registrations
  • Collaborator records with legal names, PRO, IPI and publisher
  • Split sheets filled in correctly the first time
  • LRC generator for time-synced lyrics on streaming apps
  • Sync-Readiness Vault for the deliverables supervisors ask for Coming soon
04 · The Content Engine

Know what to post, and when.

Posting randomly and hoping is how most artists burn out. The content engine builds a plan around your actual release, so every post has a job.

It maps ideas to cold, warm and hot audiences, tracks what you’ve filmed, and schedules it across the weeks before and after you drop.

  • Social media strategy built around your release date
  • Content ideas mapped to where each fan is in your funnel
  • Filming tracker and posting schedule
  • Audience generator that builds your core fan avatars
05 · Growth and Outreach

Reach the people who move the needle.

Curators, blogs, collaborators and tailored paid ads decide how far a release travels. Most artists either never reach out or send messages that get ignored, and decide that a monthly budget for paid promotion is not worth their career.

You get proven outreach for every stage, and the ad playbook that shows you how to spend on promotion without wasting it.

  • Outreach templates for curators, blogs and collaborators
  • Follow-ups for after a placement or feature
  • Managed ad campaigns available as a Studio Services add-on
  • Meta ads playbook: tracking, audiences and settings to avoid Coming soon
  • Campaign setup generator built around your release date Coming soon
06 · Accountability

The structure that keeps you moving.

Knowing what to do and actually doing it are different problems. The membership is built around the latter.

You see your progress, get reminded when something is pending, and meet with me once a month to review where you are and what’s next.

  • Monthly live strategy session with Charlie Hayz
  • Progress tracking across your registrations and releases
  • Reminders for pending approvals and deadlines
  • Monthly Label Report: what you did, your numbers, your next three priorities Coming soon
07 · Studio Services

Finish your release properly.

When you need hands-on help, members can add it without a sales call. Pick a service, check out, and it gets done.

  • Mixing and mastering, from single tracks to full albums
  • Mastering for mixes you already love
  • Tracking pixel setup so your ads optimize correctly
  • Registration sessions, and pitch and bio writing
  • Sync-ready deliverables and managed ad campaigns
Is this for you

Built for artists who plan to keep releasing.

It’s for you if

You release music regularly or you’re about to, you want to own and control your work, and you’re ready to handle the business side properly instead of hoping it sorts itself out.

It’s not for you if

You release one song a year for fun, you want someone to do everything for you, or you’re looking for guaranteed streams. Nobody honest can promise those.

Straight answers

What this is, and what it isn’t.

Indie Label O.S. is a system and a structure for registering, releasing, protecting and growing every copyright you own. It isn’t a replacement for everyone on a label’s payroll, and it doesn’t pretend to be.

Not a manager

It won’t negotiate your deals or book your shows. It makes sure the business side is handled so you’re ready when those opportunities come.

Not a publisher

It doesn’t collect royalties on your behalf. It makes sure you’re registered to collect them yourself. Publishing administration is on the roadmap.

Not an agency

You get the systems to run your own promotion. If you’d rather hand campaigns off, managed ads are a separate add-on.

Not a guarantee

Nobody honest can promise streams. What it gives you is every release set up properly, and the accountability to finish.

The real alternative

You could piece this together yourself.

Most artists try. It usually means learning each step the hard way, one mistake at a time.

What it costs you

Most help asks for a piece of your music.

The usual ways artists get support typically come with a share of what they own or earn, and that share often outlasts the relationship.

Label deals

Many take ownership or long-term control of your masters, plus a share of what they earn.

Publishing deals

Typically take a share of your publishing, often for years.

Advance-based deals

Take a share of your revenue until the advance is recouped, and sometimes longer.

Indie Label O.S. Membership

No rights and no percentage of your earnings. A fixed fee that ends when you stop.

This applies to the membership. Production is a separate offer, and its terms, including my publishing share, are spelled out below.

The cost of doing nothing

Skipped steps keep costing you.

None of these send a bill. The money just never arrives.

  • Skip your publisher registration, and the publisher’s share of your performance royalties goes uncollected.
  • Skip SoundExchange, and royalties from satellite and internet radio sit unclaimed. Unclaimed money doesn’t wait forever.
  • Miss the copyright registration window, and you can lose access to statutory damages and attorney’s fees against early infringers.
  • Release without a plan, and the launch window, when listeners and algorithms pay the most attention, passes quietly.

Weigh a membership against what one skipped step can cost for as long as the song keeps earning.

Beyond the membership

Want to work with me on the music?

Production is by application. Accepted artists choose beats from my catalog, and the master copyright of every beat they use is transferred to them in writing. Not leased. Owned. I keep 30% of the publishing on songs made with my beats, and that’s my only stake.

Members apply from inside the portal, and every production retainer includes 12 months of membership.

Questions

Before you join.

Does the membership affect who owns my music?

No. The membership never touches your rights. Your songs, masters and publishing stay entirely yours.

Does my free account progress carry over?

Yes. Everything you’ve completed, including checklist progress and saved details, stays in your account when you upgrade.

What happens when my pass ends?

Member features pause, but your data stays. Renew any time and pick up exactly where you left off.

What does “coming soon” mean?

Those features are in development. They’re included in your membership as they launch, at no extra cost.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. The membership gives you systems, templates and guidance. For contracts and legal questions, talk to a qualified attorney.

Can members get production?

Yes, by application. Members apply from inside the portal, and accepted artists become production clients.
